nope. he's going to coach the rest of his contract at minimum. he just signed an extension this past summer which puts him through if i remember correctly the 26-27 season. Fully expected to fulfill it

Realistically speaking, that will be when Kelvin is ready to hang it up being on the sideline. He still wants to establish the program in the B12 before riding off

 

You sold me! I love the way he coaches and I’ll be sad when he hangs it up.

 

I tell myself not to think about that. But the years have really flown by since he first came. Just know that he has put UH basketball in a good place. He won't leave it that way. He has no intention of putting in danger what he has built and we still have some years for that

I tuned in the Coogs having a 10 pt. lead over Cincinnati. From then on I wondered how they got the lead because they looked horrible. How about, can't shoot, can't rebound, can't pass....just awful.

 

Need someone to step up besides Shead.

Nothing surprises me at this point with B12 road games. No team is safe whatsoever

 

Love all the talk about culture guys and **** but you need guys that can score as well

I'm good maybe taking a little off the defense and getting someone that can create their own shot. This is just brutal.

 

Wow, the Bearcats are not that good, but against the Coogs today they are the vintage Celtics. I can't watch this anymore. Really hard for me to imagine the Coogs going far in the NCAA tournament. The national tv audience probably feels the same. They save their stinkers for national tv.

 

Who told you Cincy isn’t that good. Theyre having a very good year and have good b12 wins under their belt already. And been competitive in all their league play games. Let’s not act like they’re some scrub team bc they’re definitely not

We're good and on a good shooting day, we're as good as any team

The problem is we're always a lock for a good 5+ minute scoring drought. Roberts is a good player but you cant lean on him to be your crunch time scorer when shots aren't falling. We're a tough ass team but we have weaknesses for sure.

 

Yeah, UCF, too. While I don't want either beating Coogs, I'm happy for fellow AAC teams joining XII to make a good showing.

 

Yup. People automatically think those other teams that came with UH stink. They’ve surprised everyone and remained competitive and have absolutely held their own. Of course all the other big name schools in the B12 are going to get more attention. Doesn’t mean Cincy and UCF suck

When I get upset, I tend to exaggerate. Has a home game been on national TV? Seems like we are always on the road when they broadcast our games.

 

Yes there’s been plenty. But UH has consistently taken care of business at home so it’s become the norm and it’s just another home win
