Who’s house!? Whoop that azz! Gotta get better on the road in the big12. Lookin forward to the tests coming up
I don't know what the criteria is for getting on that wall but at the end of his career Shead will have the numbers for it.
If only for his act of picking up the trash in Memphis, Shead deserves his name on that wall. He epitomizes exactly the type of person you want representing your university. Very classy guy. Very smart guy. Very talented guy.
Kinda crazy that they really haven't had anyone in the past 40 years worthy of hanging up there. Who were their best players since then: Upchurch? Moore? Cadillac? ??? I think Shead can earn that this season.
Is there any way to move the cameras to face the other side of the arena during games? Hate looking at the club section the whole time.
Can they expand Fertitta Center? It doesn't look like it. I think it's a mistake to go bigger. Houston fans are fickle and the city has a lot of sports and entertainment options. I'd rather have consistent 40/7K sellouts than be playing inside half empty cavernous buildings 90% of the time.
I don't think they can either but if they can dominate in the Big 12, the way they did in the past, they may have to find a way to maximize their profits. Their tickets are a hot commodity
Agreed. If there's ever a HUGE OOC game, especially as part of an early-season tourney, play it at the Toyota
That's pretty much it. Unless we're invited to play a huge OOC game by some third party (Texas Kickoff, Halal Guys Basketball Showcase, etc), all games should be on campus. It's not a bad thing at all to have regular sellouts on campus. If anything you want limited inventory to help boost excitement.
UT just downsized to a 10K seat arena (Hofheinz is 7K) after decades at the cavernous, atmosphere-deficient Erwin Center.
