It was great to have a thrilling game and watching this team respond on the road in a tough building. A few thing need to be cleaned up but it is January. I'd like to see Shead look for his shot a little more late in the game. He passed an open 3 to drive in and pass it off which resulted in the bigs passing it around and no bucket. Big credit to Iowa State locking down LJ. That dude guarding him was in his shorts all night. They need to look at a better offensive response to that kind of defense. Sharp is growing up fast. He is going to be the key offensive gear rest of the year. Dunn had a few bad passes and looked to slow to me at times, Maybe coach sees something there or Walker isn't ready for prime time, I don't know. Dunn hasn't settle his shot yet and isn't playing with confidence, he may just need a good game to get him going. Young bigs look really good. Stay healthy and get Roberts back close to 100% by March. They will be fine. I'd be fine with more minute on the young guys. This loss is on the terrible start, they turned the ball over so many times. We clearly haven't faced that level of defense on the road. It took too long to adjust, they'll be ready next time. That loss didn't bother me. Iowa State isn't shitty by any means. The absolute wet fart of a start is what is bothersome.
