This Carlson kid for Utah is obviously a player eta: Utah's starting 5 runs 6'6", 6'7", 6'9", 7'0", 7'1"
Lol covered indeed...going 12-24 from the line will never hurt you in a game down the road Utah's a weird team that will give people problems this season
UH is young, but deep. There was kind of an overlay here regarding our talent, the maturation of a young team, and chemistry. Utah had the length, and got in the zone shooting from that dude. The time to get us will be early in the year. I remain convinced that Arceneaux and Sharp will play huge roles. I'd actually like to see Arceneaux starting. His versatility, including Big D, size, and the ability to score translate to w's. Give me Sharp as the first guy off the bench for now with instant offense.
This years team looks deeper than last year even though they don't have 2 uber talented guys like Sasser and Walker. I think last year they wore down towards the end of the season because of the lack of depth. CKS said he was happy they got tested today.
Another thing, and it might sound odd, but in spite of lacking some of the individual talent like last year, this team, could be greater than the apparent sum of it's parts. A deep young team buying into the swarming D.
If they had ONE, just one big guy who can play... It's been 5 years since Sampson has recruited one, I don't get it
There aren't really a lot of good big men across the nation. Utah had 7 footers chucking up 3's and listed as guards.
