I'm about 10 minutes behind, but that block was way above the square, straight nasty.

Edwards has been good but Sasser going down was just such a killer. I’m hoping they can make a long run and next year should be a run to the NC

Wow! Sampson is the better coach but Penny has much better athletes on Memphis. Terrible loss.

Looks like the Coogs have just fallen apart. I guess the SMU loss killed their confidence. I looked for a bounce back, didn't happen. They almost forgot to show up in the second half.

The winning streak after Sasser’s injury felt like when Wile E Coyote kept running when he was no longer on the ground. Eventually he looks down.

Losing Sasser is just too big of a hole to fill, especially late in the game when you need to score. He can create for himself and others. Only Shead is close to doing that now. Also, in these last two games you can see the increase in defensive mistakes and turnovers because they’re playing on fumes with such a short bench.

Sucks but i don't hold anything against this team
Credit to memphis, they always play us hard

Do we drill them with Sasser? probably, but no point on dwelling on what ifs

    The conference is wide open

The question now is: are the Coogs done for the season or will they bounce back? They really look beaten down.

They've figured out how to break the pressure with their skip passes, good, but they never punish the opponent. They rest after breaking, then set up the offense again instead of punishing them with a layup. That's just giving the defense a free pass. They could fix that. But this game is a reminder that the more gifted teams are going to take advantage of our gym rats. As a 4-6 seed, it will be tough sledding in the tournament. The losses were costly.

And yep, confidence shaken. You could see it.

Agreed. I think if they had another guard it would help them tremendously

I didn't know DeAndre Williams was 25yrs old! What kind of program is Penny running? That's like Christian Wood playing in college

Eek. First half not pretty. However, we should be able to stumble into this win blindly. UCF looking terrible. And nobody on UCF looks capable of turning the tide.
