Syracuse doesn't have the same athletes as we do, so likely no full court pressure. Boheim is only 6'6, so he can be guarded by a big, but much like Grimes, he found his confidence mid season and is a different players than when the season started. Still, Syracuse played above their heads today, and our defense should be able to shut them down. Plus Syracuse folds under defensive pressure. Likes our chances.

OK State at 4 and Loyola at 8 are the two highest seeds left to possibly face in our bracket. With this miracle win I like our chances of reaching the final four. We just need two wins next weekend and we are in.

That final play by the Cougars was so emblematic of the teams character. Jurreau trying to will the team forward on one good leg, Mark comes flying in for the hustle tip and gets clobbered. Pure grit. All heart.
Dude I left the bar in disgust at the 6 minute mark. I pulled my car over and screamed at my phone as we came roaring back. I was so disgusted at how we played down the stretch. It was mindboggling. Then just... the 3rd ward showed up.
Had to listen on the radio, with 950 AM fading in and out. What a nail-biter! Sounded like our lack of a true PG was going to kill us— or, for whatever reason, we just couldn’t score. Then 14-2. Amazing. Go Coogs!
Personally I'm glad Rutgers shot their way into a 10 point lead and the Coogs had to claw back because they couldn't hit free throws. This kind of win will bind them even closer and get them ready for more tough matches. Orange mens zone should play into Coogs favor. I figured Rutgers would play tough and I knew they weren't finishing that game shooting 50% from three like they were at late in the second half. Final 4 no excuses. Go Coogs
Syracuse zone gives teams issues every year. I am glad we have 6 days to work on it. I was be really concerned if we had a day to prepare for it.
