Ah, ok. Like I said, I don't follow most of this stuff much anymore. I used to love high school ball and college up until maybe a few years ago, but no idea what's going on nowadays.
The athletic has this up on Hinton Nate Hinton, 6-5 sophomore guard, Houston. “The ultimate junkyard dog. He can make spot-up shots. Three or four years from now it wouldn’t surprise me if he’s an end-of-rotation type guy. If he was an elite athlete he’d be a late first-round pick, but he’s a winner. He came out of nowhere. His rebounding numbers are like video game numbers. He’s a little better with the ball than you think. Someone will take him in the second round. He has limitations creating his own shot, but I don’t think that’s what he needs to be.” https://theathletic.com/2196998/202...n-anthony-edwards-james-wiseman/?redirected=1 Seems like hes trending towards a very late 2nd pick.
rooting for him to be drafted. Prototypical Energy 3 and D player for the NBA. I wish he would have stayed 1 more year
Would be a dream if the rockets can acquire a 2nd round pick and grab nate. Would at least give me something to root for with the way the upcoming season is looking.
Welcome back UH basketball. Unfinished business. Starting off at #17 but should reach inside the top 10 to finish the year UH -22 vs Lamar
Anyone catch it? I don’t have ESPN plus. Grr. Just from the box scores it looks like Grimes still can’t shoot. Tramon Mark blew it up, could have been garbage time.
All around team win. No mills. Expected to play Friday. Extremely deep UH team with the same kelvin sampson DNA is all you can take from this. good exhibition game since Lamar is far from a good team. Mark got most of his stuff in garbage time. Very talented kid nonetheless. This game wasn’t close. Another one on Friday before a tough tough game vs Texas tech Sunday.
Sasser was on fire yesterday. Looking forward to seeing Mills, Sasser and Mark on the court at the same time.
Game wasn't close UH didn't play great offensively but they were so good on defense and on the offensive boards that it didn't matter. I think Lamar was 1-13 from beyond the arch and thats almost unheard of in todays game.
Yeah, just learned about the game...should be good indeed, will watch. It is in Ft. Worth according to espn.
