The guy should know better. BLM is out of line but he has to know the temperature right now. Call them marxist instead. They used to own that. I dont find his comments particularly racist but to each their own. BLM and antifa are full of dumb white people.

It likely means that Palmetto is a regionally carried product but you get points for your typically formulaic, conservative, Facebook style mumbo jumbo theory.

The thread should have ended with this post. There is nothing else that needs to be said.

You're expressing your opinion of me expressing my opinion of Costco expressing their opinion about that CEO expressing his opinion about BLM.

    What now?

Doesn't Costco have a right to free speech? Or only right-wing nuts?

I have bought this a few times from the location in Cypress. Low in carbs so it was good with pork rinds. Shame.

I dont think free speech got anything to do with this story. More like costco is making an example of a product they carry when the owner of the product express his opinion negatively about BLM.

I hope the CEO of the dried mango brand In Costco doesn’t say something to get their product removed. That’s practically the main reason I reason I have kept a membership there.

Since you know their motivations so well, why are they trying to make an "example" of this product? You think they are trying to get all the other products to behave? Is that your argument?

I didn't avoid it. You didn't like the inference. They (both Costco and Palmetto) can express their opinion and let the markets decide.

What you quoted earlier should indicate how much I give a crap about the CEO's opinion and whether it should be held to a higher esteem as much as the next person or uhh entity.

No. Costco is a publicly traded company. That means maximizing profits is their driving goal. They answer to shareholders.
