A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away in ninth grade(sigh), my teacher asked us to come up with an advertising jingle as part of an assigment. I came up with: "I scream. You scream. We all scream for ice cream." Now, I hadn't heard it before and I don't think this was around way back then. It got a good response. Come to find out that, many years later, Blue Bell ice cream was using this in TV advertising. Every time it came on I would scream, "I invented that!!!" . Too bad I have no proof or maybe I could of sued them. LOL. It's kind of like when Kramer from "Seinfeld" came up with the idea for "Beach" cologne only to be spurned and have his idea stolen by the executive he pitched it to. Well...not really the same thing. Haha.
He has a couple. The "Eagan & Henson" & "Trailer Wheel & Frame" jingles are catchy and stay with you for a while. So, I they do their job.
That stupid MBNA commercial during Astros games on the radio... "As American as hot dogs. Yes! Credit Cards. Yes!" I hate that freaking commercial
Yeah, I think that guy is hillarious. I was "thriftin" ... I think at a Salvation Army in the Heights, and I saw a Hilton Furniture t-shirt. It has him with his chainsaw. It even has his little kid. And on the back in bold letters it says, "That's a fact, Jack!" Best 92 cents I ever spent.
it's Thunderbolt, not Thunderbird. do not disrespect a houston commercial institution like that. that's the oldest commercial i can think of. it's still the same damn thing i remember watching way back when i was 7 or 8. a classic. oh, and it's 730-D-E-P-O.
The new Burger King commercial "When My belly starts a rumblin and i'm jonesin for a treat. I close my eyes for a big surprise, the new tendercrisp bacon chedder ranch...." If you've seen it, you know what i'm talking about.
