Covington and Daniels are going to be lighting it up for horrible teams that can afford to give PT to seriously flawed players.

I can't wait to read the "What was Maurey smoking?" threads. Those will be priceless.

What, you don't like the urbanization of the backup center spot?

Love this trade. Danials was good for nothing other than 3 point shooting. This was another lopsided deal by the best GM in pro sports.

    What happens to KPap?
Limited role as a backup stretch four?

Oh well, regardless this is great. I've been pining for bench depth.
Hopefully we somehow land Dragic as well. PLS.

99.9% Chance there is more. With Turiaf being sent w/ Brewer, no way in hell this done yet. We're going to get someone else in addition to Brewer.

Another aspect of the trade I like: Brewer has a great reputation as a teammate. Players and coaches love him by all accounts.

Unless it's being expanded into a BIG deal, we aren't getting anything of substance. Turiaf has a pretty low salary.

This is a win (although not a huge one) all the way around.

We upgraded size and depth in our midget back court and scored a rotation player for a non-rotation player.

Is Brewer mobile enough to defend PGs? I haven't seen a whole lot of him. If so, that is a huge, huge plus considering Bev's aggressiveness (fouls), injury issues and the fact that there are what seems to be a limitless number of star PG in the West.

This means nothing about Kostas to me. I still see him getting a decent amount of minutes at the 4, and at the 3 when the Rockets go bigger with Brewer at the 2. What this does more than anything is limits Terry's minutes which won't necessarily be a bad thing if they want to keep him fresh for the final stretch of the season.
