NBA game time just showed Brewer shooting some practice shots. Odd that we are being told he's not playing.
Other than steals, Brewer's D is little overrated. What he will do is increase scoring pace because he is a transition specialist. Rockets were 1st in scoring pace last season, 10th this season. We will def improve there with Brewer.
That's a funky depth chart. Who taught you to count to 15? Did they have trouble getting past a certain part???
True but still need a backup C. Dorsey and Black are not cutting it. Once Dwight goes to the bench the back up Cs have been bad in protecting the paint and give up too many offensive rebounds.
I'm so estatic to have Corey on the team. He's what we need and by his interviews, it looks like he wants to give it all, he believes 101% in this team. With only the need of an actual backup center this could be a houston championship for 2015
Guess Dwight can get over his b****assness over losing Daniels/Garcia by adding his friend Josh Smith.

So we essentially traded Jeremy Lin, Troy Daniels, and a 2nd round pick for Corey Brewer? What a ridiculous steal for Morey once again. In Brewer's first game as a Rocket, he already contributed more to a game than I've ever seen Lin contribute when he was here.
#33 looked very good in his debut tonight. He provided excellent defense and good shot selection. Ariza can now play much more reasonable minutes...and our team depth just took a large step deeper. Excellent trade. Add Josh to this team and watch out!!
So far, so good! Dropped him in fantasy the other day thinking he wouldn't play a significant role, picked him back up again tonight. LOL.
That first game was exactly what I hoped for. Got steals, and got out in transition getting easy baskets. Big upgrade over Ariza in the fastbreak department. Hope to see more of the same!
Team looked really fresh tonight. I thought the fast breaks were a sight to see. I hope we continue to see brewer make an impact in the passing lanes.
That Corey guy couldn't keep still. Wow! Instant and constant energy, very disruptive presence. Making good decisions, he fit well with the veterans
