Corey Brewer Traded to the Rockets

Not really that important I guess, but the thing I got from that video is that Brewer has no left hand at all.

 

Goran Dragic and a 1 round pick for AB was definitely selling high.

 

I'm not excited about Brewer the player.

I hope his contract affords us a nice trade at the Feb deadline, but I don't expect to see that game-changing transaction this season.

Pretty sure this level of talent that we have is what we'll have for the playoffs as well

 

With the way this team is shooting, his percentage will go down even more.

 

Brewer/Ariza/Dwight/Bev on the floor at the same time should be fun defensively. I'd love to see them bring some sort of small ball trapping/pressing defense.

 

Dallas got themselves someone who has a ring and we got one ourselves too

So we basically traded Lin, Daniels, a 1st and two 2nds for Brewer and Turiaf?

 

He'll also have Lavine, Wiggins, Bennett--so much youth on that Minny team to grow with. As long as Saunders plays Troy, he'll fit in there just fine.

Proven top tier big PF but if DMO keeps it up we will be OK.

 

I think its likely we trade Brewer at the deadline... I mean thats why it was so important we got him today. He is an expiring contract and can have a role while he is here.

 

Except Brewer played a total of 13 games for Dallas in '10-'11 and hardly had an impact. Terry is our ring toting vet

Hopefully the player that we get in Feb will make this haul look better

 

Because Bud knows the business. He knows Morey is gonna flip him to another team if not immediately, at the trade deadline. haha

 

If you include 2nde then we also got Terry.

One the players front we made out like bandits, shame it cost a 1st to ditch L8n.
however we got a better 1st back for ditching Asik.

Basically Asik, Lin, Daniels for Ariza, Brewer, Terry and Turiaf. AND upgraded from our own 1st to the Pelicans 1st.

Win.

 

Which one is available?

Realistically we at least now have salary and assets (Jones Canaan Motie Capela NOP1 Johnson) to make a deadline deal.
but i didnt see any teams with top tier PFs who wanted to ditch right now.
