Corey Brewer to start tonight against the Wizards

At the end of last season what there things we needed to change in order to be a decent basketball team -

-Emphasis on Defense with new coach .... Hires Mike D'Antoni
-cut down on turnovers ... gives the ball to Harden more to create more turnovers
-Get younger .... signs two high priced veterans with health issues (I actually like the Gordon signing though)

-less Corey Brewer.... inserts Corey Brewer into starting lineup

 

D'antoni: "I've got a fever! And the only prescription...is more Brewer!"

 

Well deserved start for Brewer. has been playing outstanding basketball the last 12 months.

Maybe showcasing for a trade? He has played okay this year, not good but not nearly as bad as last year.

 

I think his chaotic way of playing makes him look much better than he is, lol

 

He'll probably have 2 fouls within the first minute.

 

Showcasing? He's a 10-year veteran, not a 10-month rookie.

What is there to showcase anyways? His 25% 3pt shooting?

 

Corey Brewer's goat would be a God in Greece, sort of like Spanoulis.

I think I'd rather resign Royce White to a 10 day contract than watch Corey Brewer be an unguided missile trying to fast break 1 on 4 again.

 

If this is the truth, then honestly I'm all for Brewer over KJ

Brewer started that game and scored the first two field goals for Minnesota.

Guys, at this point you gotta stop blaming the coach. It's 3rd coach in a row who plays Brewer way more than he should. Either we're ALL IDIOTS, or Morey is telling his coaches to play Brewer. That simple. You have 8 million (+/-) guy and you're not gonna play him? C'mon now, you know better than that. If Brewer stopped getting minutes, how would Morey look? What would he say to Le$$? "Sorry, it's just 21 million for a non rotation player, my bad"?
