people under the influence of drugs and alcohol have a high thresh-hold for pain and are pretty combative. tough situation for the cop. hindsight is always 20/20
She was running away sooooo fast though. Seriously though, at least give the perp a chance to run before tackling. I mean, I don't understand tackling someone who isn't running. Or perhaps, use the taser...that's always a fun youtube video.
Sqaured up, lead with the shoulder, but forgot to wrap up. Needs a little more seasoning before the Detective league.
I don't see the problem. If she wouldn't have been acting like a little b**** she wouldn't have gotten knocked down like one.
Never heard of it. I have heard of excessive "being a b****" and needing to get knocked the **** out for it though.
I found something interesting on the internet. A man in Gilbert, AZ by the same name as this Phoenix officer "Patrick Larrison" owns a Security Guard "company" that appears to be a one man operation. maybe he's moonlighting and still a Phoenix officer...or maybe it's his new job. hmmmm http://www.powerprofiles.com/profile/00005151621938/PATRICK+LARRISON-GILBERT-AZ
A shorter, female cop may have had no other way of bringing her down...A man of his size could easily just grab her and hold her. There is no comparison between the strength of this cop and a shorter female.
You saw her punching her mom in the damn face, I don't see the problem with knocking her ass into a wall.
I don't care if she's drunk or being violent, she's 15. And she is a she. What's the point of going Juggernaut? What a loser.
She was a clear danger to society. The SWAT should have been called, but thanks to the officer... saved us all a lot of time.
He could have easily snapped her neck with the force of his body weight or have crushed her skull against the wall. Cop should be kicked off the force. Half of being a cop should involve common sense... he obviously has none.
The fact that she assaulted her mom is irrelevant to what I was saying...I was comparing a female officer and a male officer. The girl deserves punishment, but the male officer went beyond the call of duty.
