I'm usually quick to criticize the cops in these situations, but this is ridiculous. You think this was about the jay walking? You think the fact that this woman came up to the cop and shoved him had nothing to do with it? I say the woman got what was coming to her.
Out of everyone's behavior that was there, the officer's was the least reprehensible. "You're ripping her clothes off!" lol Hopefully that lady will never try to interfere with an officer again.
I HATE COPS....but im with the cop on this one ...she looked like one of those annoying b****es...she was resisting arrest.. I doubt he was arresting them for just jaywalkin. I think he might of stopped them for jaywalking then they got mad..made a commotion..or tried walking away..so he tried arresting them and then all hell broke loose The one who got punched was being the aggressor. She could of been reaching for his gun for all he knows. I would of liked it better if the cop knocked her out..they were swarming him he had no choice. Think a taser would of been better option though but guess he didn't have one.
I don't like any of the people in this situation - but keep in mind, the charge here was jaywalking. jaywalking.
That'd be infanticide. Seriously, though, aren't cops trained to subdue quickly? This guy was struggling against a woman. Don't think he'd be able to take on an average joe.
I don't know that she should have gotten punched in the face for a push but I wouldn't mind charges being brought up against her for her actions. Why does he not deal with the woman who pushed him as well instead of the jaywalking one, seems like she got away in the end. It's sad that race had to be brought up in this thread but I'm only kidding myself if I thought otherwise. All parties look bad here really, not just the women and not just the cop.
