Would be crazy to have him go back, he’s technically still supposed to be a senior but that’s a lot of risk. You’re guaranteed first pick this season, an injury could end your career before it starts.
Flagg has elite court awareness and instincts on both ends, especially as a weak side help defender. My kid goes to Duke and Flagg has turned me (grudgingly) into a Duke fan.
He'll be stupid af to go back if he wants to maximize his earnings. Doesn't matter if duke pays him 13mil next year, he will lose a year of that sweet max deal. Unless Duke plans to pay him 350mil for the next 8 years.
He'll be only 22 in his 5th year of the NBA. I can only imagine how much better he will be at that point. It's crazy to think about. Whoever wins the lottery pick this year is so damn lucky.
