So before the Aus v USA game yesterday I headed down to NBA House in Covent Garden. It's pretty much like a temporary NBA City in the heart of London. One of the NBA old guys there was none other than Big Shot Rob, along with some other lesser names, (DWade, Ryan Bowen, some of the Team GB scrubs etc) Horry said that his favourite championship was the second with the Rockets, as we came in as 6th seeds and no homecourt advantage through the playoffs. (He did say that the ring for that Championship was the ugliest ring he'd ever seen, and gave it away) He mentioned that Hakeem was the greatest and Barkley used to bully the hell out of him on every play when they matched up, throwing elbows and telling him "say something". Go him to sign my shirt and then left him to sign a bunch of pictures from the amassed fans, and went off to see the USA game. Seemed like a genuinely nice guy. Obligitory photo proof Spoiler Yeah I know, cool story bro. But you guys get to see these guys week in week out during the season, here in the UK we have to wait for the Olympics to come to town.
Wow, Imgur has failed to shrink that pic, haha. If I could edit the post I would guys........ bwahahaha.
Well instead of being the 231st person to comment on the size of the picture, I'm gonna say that is seriously a cool story bro. I saw Big Shot Rob at Magiano's here in Houston and he was hanging out with Carl Herrera (not the polarizing poster, but the real one) and he seemed like a really cool dude then too. Thanks for sharing!
That was taken on my GF's phone. Samsung Galaxy Note.... Didn't think it would be that big...! Hopefully Clutch will come along and shrink the pic.
