Nerds are so high maintenance and fussy. The petty issues you guys give so much importance to and spend hours debating over. I guess it's part of your charm and what drives me back to you guys. Or maybe it's excruciatingly gay, and I'm just an angel who can only see the good in people.
True. I almost thought it was a joke but then I saw it was Judoka that started the thread and he's very serial most of the time.
By the way, I have always had a simple rule for roommates with food. Get your own meat and vegetables. Unless I'm cooking for both of us, I won't eat yours; you don't eat mine. Kitchen staples are shared. I would argue that peanut butter is a kitchen staple, and therefore fair game. So the only questionable part is the eating straight from the jar, which is a minor breach of roommate code. (Couch divers are subject to a one-sided version of roommate code.)
NOT COOL! He prob put his junk inside the peanut jar and wiggle around alil ... then let your dog lick his thingy. (the fork is just a coverup)
Not a big deal, I generally eat straight from the jar but without the double dipping, which he could have been doing as well. Also when you've invited someone into your house, I think him eating some food should not be a big deal, I would think that comes with the invitation or acceptance.
The more I think about this, the more it makes sense. Why else would he use a fork other than to "rake" away the unspeakable things that occured. Throw the PB away.
Yeah I'm a big fan of Dexter so I am usually very serial. If you touch my peanut butter though I am going to go all cereal on you like peanut butter Cap'n Crunch! I think you, bigtexxx and Teknoid must've missed this in the original post.
Believe me if that happened I wouldn't ask about wheter its 'cool' or 'not cool' on CF.net even in jest.
Yes as a guy who is so hefty that frequently in public parents have to tell their kids "That's no moon.." I find this an affront to the moral fibre of our society that someone that I have taken into my own home has raided my precious peanut butter!
well if you known him for 10 years why don't you tell him what you think (I know it's not a big deal) but if you have known somebody for that long ,you guys should be best friends, right ..?
So, some of you have no problem with someone taking a jar of peanut butter, scooping some out and eating it, put the fork BACK IN the jar of peanut butter and repeating the process? It's incredibly rude of your friend, regardless of how good of a friend he is.
You know, a jar of peanut butter costs a few dollars. Buy another jar and laugh it off with him just so he knows you're very particular about wanting him to recognize that he did it.
We all think it's disgusting. That's besides the point. It's funny. If he did it trashed, and someone recorded it, we would all be cracking up right now. Big whoop.
