    When left to my own devices I won't cook my vegetables. I'll eat them raw or I'll juice them.

    I might have missed it, but I did not see my three favs:

    * asparagus -- salt, pepper, olive oil, grill to perfection

    * brussel sprouts -- cut in half, pan fry with butter & pepper until crispy golden brown.

    * cauliflower -- boil, food process with cream cheese, and end up with a side-dish better than mashed spuds.

    I concur.....however i dunno about that processed cream cheese......i'd want like gruyere in there instead...

    Okay, I have to admit it. We sometimes get the Trader Joe's bag of cauliflower, *microwave* it (gourmet!), and then add some cambazola (sp) cheese & pepper to mix it all together.
