Brian Cook is the Kevin Federlein of the NBA.

Why is this guy still picking up a paycheck?

Brian Cook is Exhibit "A" why Mitch Kupchak used to be a crappy GM. That is, until Chris Wallace and other GMs started handing over their good players to him in exchange for absolutely nothing.

Whenever Brian Cook hits the court, the Rockets should play this as his theme song:

If I was cook, I would take the 3.5m$. It's natural.
He might never find a 3.5m$/y job in his remaining life.

I second that. Let's make Cook the most famous garbage time player of all time.

This will be his last NBA contract.

Would be stupid not to pick up the option.

Smart move by Cook. Will probably be of some value near the trade deadline...

Lakers overpaid him since he was a starter for Lakers in 06. Consider Luke Walton got 5 years 30M, this was a much better deal.

I am so afraid Cook opts out. He's an important part of the Rockets' bench.

    Foolish move by Cook.

He could have easily gotten a $10 million contract with the circus.

How the hell did he get $3.5 million when Wafer is only getting less than $1 million?

Wafer was signed as an unproven SG. He was glad to take on that contract. Cook was somewhat established as a good shooter in this league for several years.

His options were to accept a sure 3.5 million dollars or test the market. By the way He has played the decision was tough to make. :D

    Averaging 2.8 minutes ... that's 2.8 minutes too much!
