Actually, Houston has been ranked as one of the greenest major cities in America. Get high up in a building and look out across the city. Now, do that in Chicago or LA or NYC. Big difference unless you are looking out on Central Park. You know, after reading the responses in this thread, it's a little easier to see why Houston has such a bad reputation. Even its own citizens think the city is a piece of ****. That's a shame.

not trying to stir the pot, but could you provide a link to that study? I found this study which lists NYC and Chicago , as well as Austin, but no mention of Houston in the top ten greenest cities in America. I think we have a lot of trees, but our feeder road system and strip centers take away from most of that.
