these deals are absolutely horrible. trading for kirk, marion, and randy foye and miller? that's nuts
They are horrible because it's the only kinda trade you are going to see. Blockbuster trades are few and far between and anyone we trade is going to have zero trade value.
What's sad is that we get so excited come trade time and then when we get someone we want and its not perfect, everyone is unhappy. It could be like getting Tim Duncan or Kobe Bryant or LeBron James and the team is struggling and everyone says, "We need someone else!! Trade this guy for that guy!!" a couple of notes :: - for those that are suggesting we get Kirk Hinrich back in a trade, keep in mind that we would have to trade Rafer b/c otherwise CHI wouldn't have a pg to back-up Rose. - for those that are suggesting 1-for-2, 2-for-3, 2-for-4, etc. trades, keep in mind that our roster is full with 15 ppl, so we'd either have to drop someone (Dorsey? Head?), or throw them into the trade. - i liked the Indiana trade, but as much as i think they're desperate to get rid of Jamaal Tinsley, they're very high on Dunleavy. - i think it's funny how this thread has basically become another Random Trade Ideas thread.
maybe tmac has quit on the rox b/c he knows he's about to be traded? I'm sure someone has said that b4 I just haven't been reading every single trade tmac thread...
Whether he gets traded or not.... It's on him. If he didn't drag frickin ass he wouldn't have put himself, his teammates, management, his supposed "legacy" and the fans in this predicament.
I have to say Artest will get traded unless he'll take a pay cut. Artest/Head for Calderon 2/15. Alston is getting up there in age. We'll have to replace him sometime.
