The more time I get think about it Ron is the one that will not be dealt. My reasoning is that when he plays the team plays with energy and passion. If a trade is done by the Rockets it will be Head and TMac that will be playing somewhere else. TMac has created the drama on the team not Ron.
I agree, however, it comes down to moveable contracts. Tmac's contract is toxic...Artest's is not. The organization has contracts it can move and Artest/Head are the most moveable pieces to improve the team.
Something similar to this is what I'm putting my bet on. Houston gets: Hinrich, Marion Chicago gets: Tracy McGrady, Luther Head, Chris Quinn Miami gets: Rafer Alston, Larry Hughes, http://games.espn.go.com/nba/featur...32~510~3046&teams=10~14~14~4~4~10~4&te=&cash=
Did you even click the link and look at the numbers? Miami would be getting 2 year contracts for 2010 so they can resign Wade, they also get a veteran PG and a SF that has comparable numbers to Marion so stat wise they are getting more points. Just click the link and read the numbers it makes sense for every team involved.
Some of these trades are terrible, shawn marion is washed up he's not going to do anything and frankly I don't want him, I'd rather wait this bad spurt out, Ron will be back (saturday?) and tracy will heal, and once tracy heals Yao will probably feel better about the whole situation
LOL...Acie Law. His transformation from the clutch, do-it-all scorer with Billups-esque game to the timid kid that can't shoot is quite disturbing. He has no confidence whenever he gets in. Athletically, he has a good enough first step to get by anybody. His handle isn't bad either. He just can't get his shot off for whatever reason. I watch nearly every Hawks game so i've seen him play a lot. He could still be a late-bloomer and a change of scenery would do him well. I thought this kid would be a good. Needless to say, i've been wrong so far.
but the players they are trading away give them salary cap room in 2010 already. all they have to do is not resign them this offseason. that's why it is confusing.
I was going to say the Rafer, Battier to Bulls too but I guess I will go with something else. On Feb 6 the Rockets will trade Luther Head to the Houston Comets for a 2nd round WNBA draft pick.
