    WTF

    Am I tripping

    Somebody try to type the words "Martin < Kobe" all as one word or "Martin < Bryant" all as one word. And see what happens.

    Not when It's yao at center. The lakers want bynum primarily matched up with Yao because of his shot blocking ability. If gasol plays any center it'll be due to bynum's foul trouble. You're basically comparing a matchup that isnt going to be happening the majority of the time and therefore it's not very indicative of how the game will be played.

    And the rockets sure won't switch scola and yao.

    That's weird...on your original post it doesnt show the martin bryant matchup, but when i quote you on the reply box it does show it...i'm guessing once i enter this reply it wont show it again. It shows Martin brooks >fisher

    Come on. Don't call yourself a Rox fan if you cannot see through this...

    When it comes to Lakers, it all comes down to THE REFS...

    There were several team better than the Lakers and lost due to favoured ref calls. Unless this get addressed, no way any team can be said a sure win against Lakers in a 7 game series. The whole fucking thing is just rigged like WWE, except Kobefags/bandwagon fans are everywhere to defend that rapist and that cheating organization.

    Yao (if healthy) = Pau
    Scola < Bynum
    Ariza = Artest
    Martin < Kobe
    Brooks > Fisher
    Our Bench >= Their Bench

    How can you question if he's a fan when you think that way yourself? Why even follow basketball? You're less of a fan than he is.

    I think we're another piece away.

    We have a great deal of depth at this point, and with one additonal forward that can score and defend, I think we'll be there.

    I think Ariza will play much better this year, and Martin hasn't reached his prime yet.

    I'd give us a good shot against any team in the playoffs...excluding the Heat. :eek:

    I think they are contenders as is. We basically have the same team as 2 seasons playoffs ago. If neither of our big men had not gone down, we would have won a championship. Last season without our best player on the team we beat most of the top tier teams as least once. Incuding LA.

    The lakers being the champs have the edge. But we can beat these guys.

    Remember the 2004 pistons won it all with a group of talented players with no true clear cut superstar.

    Bench is a lot more important than you might think. Rotating fresh guys who give intense high energy minutes (because they know they will be going out of the game soon, so they can really leave it all on the court without worrying about 4th quarter burnout) provides excellent defensive looks and offensive changes of pace that can really disrupt opposing defenses.

    If you wanted to cover all your bases, you could also compare team defense and coaching.

    i say that matching up is more important with other teams in the conference since kobe's finger will be the lakers downfall.

    In addition, I would say our bench is much better than the Lakers. Lakers' bench consists of Odom, the human enigma.

    Are you serious? Yao is better than Bynum even when semi-healthy.
