Conspiracy theory: There was no way the home state of Nike (OR) would let Adidas Harden win

    The basketball brand battles are real. Phil Knight put his foot down on this one and made sure Harden had his wings clipped after the GS game. Still scored 38, albeit sloppy and inefficient.


    Funny how no one ever said that when Kobe did it, which happened a ton.

    Yeah but Lillard doesnt have near the impact of Harden.

    Here's a radical conspiracy...they were playing their 5th game in 10 days in their 5th different city. They are missing 2 of their top rotation players. They were coming off a huge emotional high from a riveting victory over the acknowledged front running team for the championship on their home court. They were playing a good team on the road.

    Unless one expects a team to go 82-0, it was clearly one of those games where if they win, “great”, but if they lose, “oh well”....

    Guys it makes sense, look at how many national championships Nike University, I mean the University of Oregon has. Their basketball and football programs are lit son!
