The nba's half rigged. Look how many foul calls dirk nowitzski gets for everything. This is why the nba is a little boring to me. Maybe it's hard to evenly call fouls but they should have a system like the nfl where coaches can challenge crappy calls. Plus nba players do a lot of acting which takes away from the game yet no punishment is given to those players. K really wanted the rockets to make the play offs but they choked or is it a conspiracy?

Ok maybe I should have titled the thread "Officiating in the NBA has to change"
I know the Rockets were in control of their own destiny and they blew it, no excuses. But what I've noticed this year more so than usual is the horrible play calling. The superstar call, anticipating something and making a call, charge/ block calls, hands staright up in the air but still a foul call, hand checking. There are so many examples. Bottom line, its inconsistent. Iunderstand that the game has changed, its getting faster and players are more atheletic and these rules are just trying to protect them but I truly believe its hurting the integrity of the game. I think it should go back to how it used to be, more physical, just let them play.

I do also believe that its nieve to think that no NBA official is involved in betting in games they are officiating to control the outcome. TIM Donaghy did it, and won hundreds of thousand of dollars. The NBA has done nothing extensive to keep this from happening now, and in low profile games like Houston, a dirty ref just might be able to pull it off. And probably did

While you're at it, try to find out if Les Alexander had an affair with David Stern's wife.. Joey Crawford.

At least Dirk doesn't flail his arms all over the place to get the foul call like a lot of the superstars. Sure, he may complain a little bit, but most people in the NBA complain about "contact" on a non-call. The calls he got against us were ridiculous, but they didn't get called due to an oscar winning performance.

This year's officiating wasn't THAT bad against us. We got some phantom calls in our favor too. Bottom line is we sucked hardcore the past couple of weeks and we should feel bad.

I'm glad I'm not the only one that is dreaming that the officiating was so bad the last few weeks to make sure we got in the lottery so that magical Anthony Davis ball would come up!

If we end up with the number 1 pick, or a top 3 pick like 2002. Then i will believe that stern is making up for the Pau Gasol fiassco at the beginning of the season

Haha who am i kidding, we missed the playoffs, because we ran out of gas
