My goodness this cult is not far off from not being able to live without their dear leader as president.

Don't I know it. Growing up in segregated Houston taught me a few things about just how far white people will go when they "feel" threatened and NOTHING threatened them more than having a Black man elected President.

Again Trump's not going to succeed in declaring martial law but he very well could encourage to take violent actions. His rhetoric is almost there.

He's been encouraging violence for months now. Having said that, it's shocking that the Washington Examiner would allow that to be printed. I've always thought the rag wasn't worth a damn, but this is beyond the pale.

I'm OK with being higher up on the IQ bell curve... it's lonely up here sometimes. Especially on this forum.

In case you get me wrong... that just means you are a mental pleb.

I don't think being "higher up on the IQ bell curve" is something anyone is going to be accusing you of anytime soon, champ.

I don’t think he cares about succeeding or not because the goals are in what he gets in the attempt and the aftermath. Which is creating leverage to get some sort of sweetheart deal with the Biden admin he thinks he can get with the threat, and the ability to continue to suck money out of schmucks with a prolonged fight. He also gets to keep himself in the news which might be most important to his ego.

Trump just sees everything as a transaction he can use to his own short term benefit. He sees the office of the presidency in the same as a drug dealer sees a pound of cocaine. If you see the world through Trumps worldview what he’s going to do next sudden becomes incredibly predictable.

Yes he’s going to start issuing crazy executive orders. He’s going to issue pentagon orders to send troops to DC. He’s going to declare Marital Law and see what happens. If the military moves one soldier to DC he’ll see that as one more pawn he can trade.

Remember how for months Dachuda and others said folks like me had Trump Derangement syndrome because I suggested he would likely try and flip state electors to throw the vote to the House under the 12th amendment to become an unelected dictator? Those folks are pretty quiet now as they cheer him on with their Parlor accounts.

No he’s not going to be successful but yes he’s going to try this... because it’s Trump.

True. Everything is transactional with Trump but this is why recently I've been feeling that more consequences need to be put out there for his actions. If Trump wants to get something out of the last days of his presidency he needs to understand that there are potential legal consequences to him and his family. My guess is he knows this which is why he is looking into pardons for his children.

Screen captured from Parlor (not by me but sent to me by a friend). This is the type of crap Trump is causing with this coup attempt.

I've been seeing stuff like this for years now. There are people that I know who I have been very worried about because they've been spouting stuff like this.

Im sure though that his White House counsel is telling him that there’s a chance those pardons are deemed unconstitutional by the courts. He also knows that if Biden wanted to he could call the AG of NY and influence her to drop the state investigations. Something his pardon couldn’t do even if the Supreme Courts sanctions it. He’s almost worried about those lawsuits and incoming indictments more than federal crimes because those are the ones that will bankrupt him forever and force him to shut down the Trump org.

So I do think he’ll threaten to do the worse possible thing (military coup) because he knows he has to dial up the threat to force a deal for true immunity.

For the record I don’t think Biden should or would go along with this and Trump will ultimately back down, but I just know he’s going to try, but I think ultimately the only thing he can do is blanket pardon and hope the Supreme Court rules in his favor in a year... and he’s going to have to accept that he’ll probably have to reform the Trump org after NY takes it down after he ultimately gets a series of state indictments that force him to pay out the wazoo enough to shut the company down.

If anybody thinks this is anything but a Russian disinformation initiative you are highly naïve.

The idea is 100% antithetical to the US Constitution the Military is sworn to uphold. It is, as so many things are on 'conservative' social media, laughable in it's ineptitude.

But it locks eyeballs and sells ads.

I never wish ill on anyone but he did this to himself so I can't wait to watch this house of cards come crashing down as he exits office, has half a billion in loans coming due, and has to face the charges against him and his org for the corruption.

logical endpoint of Limbaugh and company’s 30 year campaign of demonizing “liberals.” Not that this was his goal, but it’s the obvious result. Hope he’s proud.
