I'm not sure the Georgia governor would issue a pardon for something like this but a plea for clemency might be more acceptable to get the sentence reduced.
Agreed. How many similarly matched couples got away with this kind of intimacy in the last 5 years thanks to Clinton (had to work that in!)? I'll be it's in the tens of millions of occurrences... I'm all for abstention whenever and wherever possible but I'm even more for not ruining some young man's life at the outset.
It's an insane law. Should there be laws to protect kids against predators? Absolutely. But a 15 year old and a 17 year old is hardly what this law is trying to protect against and it is stupid. They are ruining this kids life over a freaking blowjob.

I should have left the Clinton reference out and we could have approximated perfection. I'm not all that big on abstinance really-- except to take the stigma off of it and have it be viewed as a reasonable and natural choice. See... I'm pro-Choice, too!
