how about all of you quit quoting him, for those of us who had the common sense to put him where he belongs eons ago.

Agree 100% but couldn't help myself this time. This is bad even for him.

you guys are pretty hilarious. and by hilarious, i mean
    pathetic.

earlier today, mark invoked my family to score political points, and not a peep out of the liberal peanut gallery.

i make an entirely relevant point comparing the dereliction of duty exhibited by the EMT to that exhibited by striking teachers in wisconsin, both acts which are motivated by politics, and the latter of which is orchestrated by the WH, and the fellow travelers go into full outrage mode.

mc mark used to be a relatively respectful poster, but both he and glynch appear to have become more bitter and angry during the past year or so.

Case in point. I don't remember ever having said anything personal toward mc mark, but he clearly projects his anger on me. Pity that he adopts the mob mentality of some of the other posters on here.

Your short-term memory seems to be failing you. From about an hour ago:

I am obviously referring to posts that happened before that. mc mark used to simply debate the issues, but recently, he has been throwing in more insults, not only at basso, but also at me.

It's a simple observation. It does not mean that I don't make snide remarks myself. I just noticed that mc mark used to make less personal remarks than many of the other posters, but that has changed.

Sorry that it was too much of a challenge for you to understand this, Major.

Your posts (probably everyone's posts, mine included) are better without snark, unless it's incredibly funny (rare.)

True. It's just too tempting sometimes ;). I guess the same goes for mc mark. I just noticed that he was a better man at resisting that temptation for a long time in the past.

I appreciate the constructive criticism and will in the future be more judicious in my personal snark. It’s just that the constant willful distortion, lying and misrepresentations from some posters become unbearable at times. I have never done it before so it might be worth a try to put someone on ignore.

    Have a nice weekend Jackie.

i think what distinguishes mark's snark from *some* others' is that he gets personal. indeed, this is a tactic that liberals often engage in, substituting personal attacks for reasoned argument. it's unfortunate.

snark is fine, fun even; personal attacks are unpleasant, but tolerable. attacks on one's family are simply unacceptable.

Now I need to put my boots on. 30-35 years ago, this was a very valid point to make. But for the last I-don't-know-how-many years, right-wing flame throwers have taken hyperbole and personal attacks/insults to another level. Especially the love of your life, Sarah Palin.

Asking you if you hired union workers to look after your special needs child is not a personal attack. It was a valid question. IF you were referring to something else you felt was an attack please point it out.

Your logic just doesn't make sense.

    another thread ruined.
If anyone finds an update on the congresswoman, feel free to start a new thread that can avoid being a basso logic latrine for at least the first five posts.

Missed this nugget of fail the other day.

It's almost been 24 hours, so I have to ask, have the gears in the logical black hole producing rube goldberg machine that is your brain turned enough to figure out why this post is ridiculously stupid yet?

I can see you've been pretty busy trying to gin up false outrage and having a pity party for yourself over some innocuous question about your family, so my initial guess would be no.
