So basically rtsy, I think you're a GD moron. The right is well over the top with the combat rhetoric, but its cool because somehow we should agree that both sides are equally to blame. That sounds a lot like Socialism to me. Is that the point that you want?

Palin is a c**t and should chill out with the battle rhetoric as should those like Limbaugh. They don't choose to, so I say they should man up and own up to the message they put out.

When did he once scorn the radicals on his own side?

The left is coming unhinged just as we need them to mount a political recovery from the election blowout. This is a disaster.

I want the GOP to lose the house, and to lose the next general election, and this blame game is going to strengthen not weaken Republicans. It's going to have the exact opposite effect that progressives are hoping for.

The sad thing is that both Angle, and Kaufman meant their extreme rhetoric literally.

I don't know that their words is what inspired this to happen, so we don't know how anyone has really acted upon their words. But this seems like an opportune time to change the tone.

You haven't read any of my posts I guess. I never once blamed this incident on any political rhetoric, and stated many times that I didn't believe that was the cause of this incident.

I've also on multiple occasions criticized those from the left for their extreme speech.

You don't have to apologize, but at least go back and read my posts before saying something false and asinine.

I liked this comment by Keith Olbermann. I think it goes pretty well with what FranchiseBlade has been saying.

Of course, it's unlikely that any of the "conservative" posters on here will even watch this because of who it is, but here goes anyway:

Do you have the ability to admit that this kind of despicable rhetoric happens on both sides and that everyone who engages in such speech should be shunned?

No, he won't because he doesn't care. He's only trolling.

The thing that's amazing is that so many one here, see something so extreme like "If ballots don't work, bullets will" and rather than just come out and say that it's wrong to try and bring violence into politics like that, they throw a hissy, don't renounce it and do everything they can to show it happens on the other side.

It would be silly but at least understandable to renounce it first, and then find examples from the other side to bring forward, but they don't. Then they say that it's wrong for me to bring out the examples in the first place.

I honestly thought that everyone regardless of political affiliation would see the quote or listen to the speech of Joyce Kaufman saying "If ballots don't work, then bullets will" and be horrified and unified in denouncing that kind of speech. Yet, apparently Roxran, Landlord Landry, Commodore, basso, and da Whopper aren't horrified by that kind of speech, and don't feel it deserves to be denounced.

The point of debate is many on the left see this as an attachment attack, and it is a weak strategy...It WILL hurt their cause. Americans as a whole see the transparency. Olberman starts off his little contrived speech as if he is now off his liberal bias high horse. .. but then in just a bit ..yea, um...Palin is to blame because of crosshairs she put over states...really? and then he goes over the top nonsense. . .
That is the implication being made by those supposedly saying but, but I'm not blaming any one side....yea....got it....

You have to begin with the extreme and volatile rhetoric of the President Obama saying if they gain control of the house there will be justified hand to hand combat....You have to start here. How is this anything but much worse than a picture of crosshairs in comparison to figurative examples is beyond me...

Wow just imagine if it was President Palin saying this...Olby boy would be really frothing at the mouth with foam. . .

The attempt by the liberal media, agenda at all costs (regardless of innocent lives) individual liberals to paint this as an attachment issue with Palin and the great tea party movement while acting as if they aren't doing so is highly transparent, and the blood is on your hands.

So a West Hollywood Halloween parody display is the same thing as shooting a dozen people?

It's debatable whether the display is protected speech, and probably easily agreed that it's in poor taste, but I think we can agree gunning down 12 innocent people in a public place is not exactly the same as resisting King George III's dreaded Hessians.

Which Democratic nominee for the Senate lives in that house?

You did post this picture because it's the "liberal" equivalent to a Republican candidate for the US Senate calling for murder if election results don't go her way, right?

I agree that this is completely uncalled for, but some random idiot hanging Sarah Palin in effigy is not the same as national party leaders and representatives calling for revolution when they're unhappy with election results.

Did you watch the whole video? He condemns the use of violent rhetoric in the political arena by everyone who is doing it and has done it, including himself.

You don't understand the logic of the "both sides do it!" defense as perfected by wingnuts these days, and on perfect display here.

Theere could be exploded federal buildings or scores of dead bodies - it really doesn't matter, all you have to do is find somebody, somewhere, who did something, at some point in tiime, and your anonymous internet conscience is resolved, everything is excused, and your horse IS BACK TO RIDING HIGH, and you can go back to refreshing the tree of liberty with the blood of tyrants while wasting time at work.
