wake up, t_mac1 ! we had to play with luther, hayes, ryan bowen, wesley, sura because rockets had no choice, Tmac's huge contreact ruled out our possibilities to sign decent role players and bench. Hayes is a good defensive player, his offense is not important to this team, buckets or no buckets, doesn't change anything. rafer was just being rafer. and as a tip, rafer just had a huge game for magic in the round 2. so stop saying Tmac is innocent and it's all other roster's faults. Tmac had more than enough chances. he is just not MJ/kobe/lebron type of player. if you swith Tmac with kobe, I believe rockets could win the series with dallars, the first series with jazz too. P:
That's bull. It wasn't McGrady's contract buddy. The owner doesn't want to pay the luxury tax. McGrady's contract then compared to now was lower. He has a higher contract now and look at our role players we have with McGrady's contract. As for that if you switch McGrady with Kobe. Boy that word IF is a good thing on this board. IF IF IF IF IF IF. IF this IF that. well IF Kobe was here who knows if he would be the same player on the Rockets as he is for LA. IF Kobe was a Rocket then we know he would be hurt since you can never really be a Rocket without having an injury. IF IF IF.
The Rockets are playing as a team without McGrady. Its obvious. No T-MAC = no Drama. The reality is we just won game 1 against L.A. in the second round and I dont see T-Mac.
You Tmac guys are the leaders of "IF" IF Tmac had better teammates, If Tmac wasn't hurt, If Tmac had Tim Duncan or Shaq Say IF one more time!
Vin Baker, Dick Bavetta, and Tracy McGrady walk into a bar. After having a drink, each is contemplating about having more. Before anyone makes a motion, bartender has already brought a second round for Vin Baker which prompts him to claim with pride, "I am Vin Baker. All I need to do is show up here for another round" Feeling competition, and not be outdone, Bavetta dons his referee shirt and exclaims, "I can walk into a Lakers game right now, and guarantee my team another round." By now Tracy has had it with the second round talks. He points to the TV showing final minutes of Game 6 of Rockets-Blazers and says, "All I need is some average teammates to get another round."
what make you to think an owner have to pay luxury tax to win? portland did, knicks did, both team sucked for years. how lower is Tmac's contract then? he signed a max contract for god's sake. and the reason we can have current roasters is morey did some fantastic jobs. about"if", oh well, TOF keep bring up Rockets failed because the team was bad, not because Tmac. then you have to wonder if other star player is in Tmac's shoes what can happen. And my guess is Kobe can get out first round with the bad team Tmac had in Houston.
I will Like to ask this question to all the cltuchfans Can you picture Tracy traded in L.A. or Dallas or Cleaveland or San Antonio and playing against us, Tracy is still An Impact player if he goes to any of these contenders we wil be in trouble I will rather see Tracy here in Hoston than seeing him to play against us.
IF IF IF IF IF IF IF im sorry but you just can't help but to say it If steve francis was never traded how would this team be. If steve francis was actually willing to participate how would he be today. If we wouldn't have blown that game 7 4th quarter lead against the jazz how would we look today. Im sorry it happens.
I fail to see the length of you being a fan being a gauge on you being more of a fan than someone else. A fan is a fan. Just because one person has simply been alive longer to be a fan longer, doesn't necessarily make them a better fan. Or even if they have just been following the team longer, doesn't really mean anything. I mean props to those that know all the old school history of the team, but it is hardly a prerequisite to be a fan of the team. A young child who is just knows the Rockets b/c their father watches the team and cheers along is just as much of a fan as someone who has been following them since they did the same thing. Why the holier than thou treatment?
I agree actually. I just don't think T-Mac is that good of a leader if you compare him to guys like Kobe or LeBron. His talent is without a doubt amazing when he was in his prime, however it's just sad to see him go out like this.
just checked T-Mac.com, no word on the huge win of game 1 vs Fakers Is it where the shut-up happens? So sad, but I really love this Rox team
Exactly, If played with Shaq, if played with Duncan, if teammates weren't average, if teammates didn't fail, If others could take over, if teammates had no injuries, if could got more money, If I didn't quit on own teams and fans, if I didn't mention about retirement under 30 before wining a single playoff series, If I could have a bigger heart, if team could win the first round without me ...me, me, me,... me could be out of first round and won the championship already. Yes, you got the wish.
Man, I would LOVE it if the Rockets got to play against Tracy. It'd be a layup drill every time down the court! <object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/Mk4QufbyJhI&hl=en&fs=1"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/Mk4QufbyJhI&hl=en&fs=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>
