Nelson Luis has been the Director of Media Relations for the Rockets for 12 years. He took over for Tim Frank in 2001, who left the Rockets to head up the media for the NBA.

Nelson is from Tampa and is a big Bucs fan... anytime Tampa Bay did anything (like getting Revis), I always loved to hear his take on it. He's a great guy... I'm happy to see him land his dream job but going to miss him here in Houston.

Even with non-court news, you're still depressing, not funny, just depressing, Carl.

Good for Luis though. Happy Trails!

He'll be missed. He did an amazing job during the Yao years, especially. It'll be interesting to see who Morey and Alexander hire to replace him.

Perhaps The White Situation influenced his decision.

(I'm kidding... although I can easily see RW driving him crazy!)

Maybe he can effect a TRob deal to the Bucs for future 1sts! ;)

Always glad to see good things happen to good people.
