Your argument is that the Democrats are willing to force him out because he is being replaced by a Democrat. That’s true but the scandal itself and that the state legislature is still considering impeachment doesn’t really help Democrats.

They could’ve just buried the scandal. The AG could’ve not conducted an investigation and the Legislative leaders could’ve been quiet. Instead they are putting the governorship more in play by going after Cuomo.

It was largely Democrats that forced out Al Franken. That was largely a safe seat also though.

I'm not so sure about that. I think Cuomo was looking to be a liability in 2022. This was a convenient way to wash their hands of him. No risk of putting a pubbie in his seat while doing it, either.

I suppose they could have buried it/not pursued it, but that would have been a pretty big kerfuffle in itself, and likely would have blown up in their faces.

    What?

As soon as multiple counts of sexual harassment came out, he was toast with the wider democratic voting block. There was zero chance of him getting enough support to have any national presence... if for no other reason that the women voters registered as democrats would not support him.

Comedians used to be funny once upon the time when they were free, but when they sold their souls to the Demonic party, they’re just a bunch over bearing weasels now.

Seems reasonable to offer him a chance at parole.

Dems don't convict dems, but they really go after someone's bottom line.

Whatever happened to Elliot Spitzer? Prosties seem tame nowadays.

His high handed anti-corruption binge probably rubbed everyone the wrong way...well he paid for that too lol.

probably deserves its own [OFFICIAL] Cuomos Appreciation Thread

    Goodbye, Cuomos!
Last year may have been the year of the Cuomosexual, but 2021 rightly disabused people of the notion that New York's governor had their best interests at heart.

Best part of living in NJ?

    Voting twice.

I didnt realize this until my old roommate told me; but one of Cuomo's interns who first came out was studying abroad with me in Dublin and drank wine in our apartment there. We probably spoke for a few minutes but its just weird to me (my old roommate actually had like class with her and knew her well)
