i wasnt aware of how bizarre and how un-democratic the democratic process is in california. the ballot says 1) do you want to recall the governor. 2) if so, who do you want. so if newswom doesnt get 50% then the victory goes to whomever gets the most votes in the 2nd question. so newsom could get 49% and then this larry elder jackass could get 20% and become governor.

is california the only state with recall rules set up like this? crazy!

and whats to stop democrats from recalling whomever should win? can they immediately call for it or do they have to wait a certain amount of time to do so.

The way to do it for people who don't want Elder is to vote NO on step one and then vote for one of the Democrats on step 2. Just in case step one goes in favor of the recall then there will be a vote for someone other than Elder.

A lot of old white people like hearing that black culture is the fault for the massive wealth gap rather than our nation's history of oppression.

It's a lucrative market. Look at Candace Owens and the wealth she generated just by playing that one shtick over and over.

You're a huge racist. Possibly the biggest on the board which is saying a lot. You're a single loser who will die alone on a message board.

Yo didn't you tell a female poster that she's a loser because she doesn't have children and posts in this message board?

Is knocking someone up or getting knocked up a discernible skill for you? Is that your largest contribution to society?

lots of skeletons coming out of Elder's closet
    • accusation of domestic abuse/violence by his former fiancee
    • his 2000 op-ed---claiming that women are not as informed as men---has re-surfaced
these developments have led to the Elder campaign hiring a new campaign manager, w 3 weeks to go in the recall election

then this revelation; just like Trump, there is something fishy w the Larry Elder charity

Larry Elder, the Oreal from South Central LA, has long trumpeted a libertarian view on the “welfare state” and its excesses, arguing private charity is a better solution than government programs.

From natural disasters to Medicaid, Elder has long scorned government as a feeble solution that harms more than it helps. He hss argued that private groups, individuals and corporations are better-suited to assist poor people and provide disaster relief.

In his website and campaign, his private charity has been used in short biographies touting his philanthropic efforts

But the conservative radio host’s own nonprofit raised little cash and made no grants in the nearly two decades it was active.

From 1998 through 2014, Larry Elder Charities Inc. raised about $20,000, according to public tax filings. It spent no money on any services, other than accounting, legal and filing fees to keep the organization in good standing. The organization has been suspended by the state since 2015 for failing to pay a filing fee, according to a spokesperson with the California Franchise Tax Board.

The IRS automatically revoked the charity’s tax-exempt status in 2018, three years after it stopped filing the required paperwork, according to IRS records.

The nonprofit’s last tax filing showed just under $15,000 in remaining funds, and charity experts said Elder is ethically obliged to disclose what happened to the money. So far, the Oreal from South Central LA hasn't.

assuming that Elder will properly disclose / account for the $15,000, nevertheless, his aborted private charity has disproven his convenient claim

that private charity is a better solution than government programs.

You seem very triggered by any mention of race. You keep whining about how racist everyone is.

Also did you ever apologize after saying that I posted nothing but tweets and claiming you'd apologize if you were wrong?

Here's your apology. Sorry I thought you were a different poster. Pretty sure I already apologized though but here you go if not
