Please tell me you aren't trying to compare forced mutilation on a culture as the same thing as some teen wanting a sex change. Now that is a sick comparison even for you if that's what you are getting at. Or, are you trying to say parents who wanted a girl are cutting off their son's penis and getting him breast implants against his will? Is this your take on the whole trans thing?
That's awesome. I don't know why that means she has to support Donald Trump. Like you get offended when someone calls her far right. She's far right today. Sorry. You agree with her on a lot of subjects. You agree with pretty much every talking point of someone like Ben Shapiro. I'm sorry to burst your bubble but you aren't a moderate. And btw I never claim to be moderate or independent.
It's possible, perhaps even probable, that arm of the SPPD could have lawyered up and made that happen, but according to Mr. Brayboy chose not to fight it. The issue is the history of that community falls directly into what is defined as "wokeness". Lynching back in the day, heavy past KKK presence, red lining which led to still heavy segregation, huge income disparity even with similar education and jobs, city using eminent domain to displace black families, etc. Sadly, the anti woke agenda prevents those types of historical facts that help explain racial disparity difficult to teach in the workplace.
I just didn't get your point. You call all democrats woke, you say woke stems from racism, and then you post something about forced mutilation in Islam. This is America, and nobody is approving that or forcing that on anyone here that I know of.
The anti woke agenda wants a white child to grow and see disproportionate crime statistics and see that one race has significantly less wealth per household on average and then blame it on black culture. That's what they want. They want their children to be raised to believe that America is land of prosperity and opportunity for all and those who don't make it deserve to not make it. That is their ultimate agenda. I think the way Richard Devos scammed millions with Amway is the central playbook of how the GOP controls the working class white conservative family. Before Amway, ponzi schemes promised massive returns in a short amount of time. This means that the grift is spotted easily when those massive returns don't come in. What Richard Devos started was the merging of faith with capitalism. His grift was sustainable because he brainwashed his followers into believing if they can't offload their products and be profitable in their small business endeavors it's because THEY failed. It's because they didn't work hard enough even though 99.9% Amway " entrepreneurs" never even break even which implies that the core system sets people up to fail. The last thing they want to teach conservative white working class households is that sometimes systems and conditions can be in place where it is nearly impossible to "win". They want to push the grindset attitude. They went to push the lifestyle of working til your death. That is how the capital owners maximize their return on investment. By convincing the common folk that grindset of working til death with 60 hour weeks to make money for those said capitalists is a virtue.
If you actually read my posts, you would get my points. Well, maybe not, but you might be less confused. It's difficult to have a conversation with someone who refuses to even listen (or read).
Answer my question. I usually don't read the ones that start off slamming Democrats as woke. Go ahead, explain your point.
Feels like the SPPD would be in a lose lose position if they publicly fought it. The governor literally thrives during these fights as a national candidate. There's no indication that surrounding PD or the LEO affected would support them either. I get that the pendulum swings wildly during these culture debates ("defund", reparations, segregation, etc...) to the point where Truth becomes a post-modern exercise by mob rule. Seems like maintaining decency and common ground gets sacrificed as collateral damage. You know, things that sustain a society and make it bearable to live in.
If you insist on wanting a sincere conversation with @AroundTheWorld you need to ask him to try to explain his positions without using politically charged terms like "woke". See what he can explain without using these type of words. Because as of now all you are going to get is posts from ATW that look like a clickbait headline list of some right wing's YouTube recommended feed.
Yes. I know her as @deb4rockets a poster on clutchfans. That's about the extent of it. Didn't know she served. That's awesome.
Also another thing I suggest that would improve conversations. Only use links to provide evidence. Don't use links to express your opinion. I'm sure I've done it before also. But try to express your opinions and your thoughts in your own words.
A Lesson From the Past for Ron DeSantis In the 1960s, Southern organizations tried sending African Americans to Northern states in a “cheap” PR stunt designed to embarrass and expose Northern liberals. It didn’t work. Northerners pointed to the Reverse Freedom Rides as yet another example of the South’s deplorability. It was “a cheap trafficking in human misery on the part of Southern racists,” the New York Times editorialized. The governor of Ohio likened it to “Hitler and his Nazis forcing Jews out of Germany.” Northern senators denounced the White Citizens’ Councils as “cruel and callous,” and demonstrating a “shameful lack of judgement.” When asked to weigh in, President John F. Kennedy, normally restrained in his condemnation of the white South, responded that “it’s a rather cheap exercise.” Council members in New Orleans and Little Rock dreamed up a public relations stunt: They would offer Black Southerners bus fare and relocation costs to undertake “Reverse Freedom Rides” to Northern cities, where, they told their victims, good jobs and housing awaited them. https://www.politico.com/news/magazine/2022/09/18/reverse-freedom-ride-south-desantis-00057339
I was asking him what woke meant to him, and if he thought Democrats were the racists, since he said it stems from racism, but uses the term on practically any subject he is against that comes from Democrats. He always labels them as woke.
Aroundtheworld ain't a moderate or an independent that much is clear. Supporting a candidate like DeSantis and trying to claim he ain't a republican. DeSantis is as far right as they come. Basically a smarter Trump without the scandal baggage
Gross. Where's the flight heading? Is he leaving Florida before the storm like Cruz did when we had the freeze?
