People being hypocritical and bullying kids looks the same no matter what state. The idea of freedom of choice means people can choose. And if those people have relatives at home or underlying conditions themselves, then it isn't ridiculous for them to wear masks. One of those kids could have a parent, grandparent, aunt or uncle at home who's immunocompromised. DeSantis playing the rough, tough politician with some kids could get someone at home in the hospital or worse, but hey, you think he's cool. Moving to Florida isn't doing you any favors, @AroundTheWorld, in my humble opinion. Funny how the state can effect people in different ways. One of my best friends lives in Florida and he thinks DeSantis is a dangerous extremist. Go figure.

The kids had a choice. As evidenced by the fact that some kept them on, some took them off. The only thing that was not 100% right was his tone. He was right on everything else. As to "the science", I already posted the memes. "The science" changed from Monday to Wednesday.
The a-holes are the ones mandating the kids to wear masks (while they (politicians) often don't, even though they are often much more at risk, due to their age).
