My governor will never lock unvaccinated Floridians like my self down, unlike Austria, where they lock down 2 millions of the unvaccinated.
Florida is an interesting place - I still see people hang their Trump signs in their yard. They had roadside Trump stores, heck I even saw someone fly a trump flag from his kayak (no American flag though). He's a god down here. I mean, literally, he is god incarnate to people and can do no wrong.
Neither is my Governor Tim Walz. The point is that clearly the Governor that you love bragging about has the sense to get vaccinated because he knows that the vaccines are safe and the best way to keep him and his family safe rather than taking a medicine not approved for as a treatment or a preventative for COVID-19.
Yet so many won't follow his example on COVID-19 vaccination and are too selfish / paranoid to do what he has done.
Also Abbott is not only vaccinated has gotten a booster shot too. For all of those who support these two governors yet refuse to get vaccinated ask yourself why would they be willing to take these vaccines if they actually agreed with you that the vaccines weren't safe or effective?
He's not a God but people here do love him though. My next door neighbor still has his huge Trump sign. I'm a DeSantis guy, I wish Trump would sit this one out.
He's a hellavu governor. I shudder to think that we could have elected the crack smoking Andrew Gillum who was caught in a motel with a male escort. It was a close call because the difference was only 34000 votes. Damn!
Desantis doesn't have a platform other than be anti-liberal. That will work in Florida but not nationally. The middle of the country doesn't want Trump light.
