The funniest part of the maga debates is all the self-described "libertarians" that claim they didn't support or vote for trump, won't this time, and express a desire to see republican alternatives. There have been a number of debates that trump refused to participate in, and so it would seem an excellent opportunity to learn about and build support for trump "alternatives"... and the republicans seem disinterested. I get it... you already have tied your fortunes to trump and the maga movement. And the candidates seemed to as well, because with the exception of Christie, the rest only squabble with each other (I guess hoping to get cabinet positions under trump). Why the pretense? Just admit and be bored until the general election...
That's because there are no real libertarians. Those that profess to be almost always don't understand what that actually means. They are just as much in the cult as those that fly the "F*** your feelings" flags on the back of their 1997 Dodge dually.
I hear insurance rates are high in Florida. Yet desantis and admin are going after... a bowl game snub?
I am sure desantis is a wonderful husband and happy his wife overcame cancer, but what did he do for victims of Covid in FL?
Gave them freedom from authoritarian and unnecessary and evil restrictions and lockdowns, like not being able to see your dying relatives in hospital, kids not being allowed to go to school, etc. I know people forget fast, but people from New York and California voted with their feet and escaped the China-style restrictions of civil liberties and moved to Florida.
