I'm not sure what you are referencing, or what proof you have. What I do know is that over 85 Republicans testified against Trump, and there is plenty of evidence for the crimes he's accused of. Trump was told by his own people the suitcase story was simply not true. His own attorney generals told him it simply wasn't true. Trump was told there was no proof that there was voter fraud. Trump was too butthurt to admit defeat, and too power hungry to not try to steal the election and have fake electors change results. Even his on VP told him he couldn't decertify it. What did Trump do? Lied, lied, lied, and incited a coup. Did Trump try to stop the violence? No. He sat and watched.

Do I think the FBI, DOJ, and prosecutors are wrong or partisan by investigating or indicting Trump for no reason? No. Do I think it's political? No. I believe anyone who did all the things Trump did from before the election, after the election, and after returning to Mar a Lago were criminal acts. That includes rape, sexual assaults, business fraud, tax fraud, election fraud, trying to hide or destroy evidence, and everything else that criminal has done in his life.

Trump can call everyone else corrupt all he wants, and like the sociopath he is, he never has and never will admit he was wrong. I am not stupid enough to believe his nonsense. What I do believe is that he has lied, grifted, conned people, and skirted the law for years, and this time he went so far that it couldn't possibly be ignored.

Do I believe everyone is the enemy, and Trump is some political victim? No. I believe only people who are brainwashed by his lies believe that nonsense.

    I'm not talking about Trump.

    That's all you can do.

It all started with me saying it's sad there is so much hate. It was you who went way off on a tangent about something entirely different like FBI and IRS. So, since you want to play silly games, I'm not discussing or debating with you. I never attacked you personally, but you started this whole debate to a response I made about hate and violence, and murders by a racist. Grow up! You and your little right wing friend AOM, who likes this nonsense. I'm ignoring you and him both. I don't waste my time with nonsense.

I am as big of a critic as there is but I still don't think people should heckle elected officials at times/locations as this. Regardless of your political opinions you should respect the office... and if that is too high a bar, you should respect the situation (mourning the victims).

What DeSantis has done to discourse in this country deserves a lot more than heckling. I hope he gets harassed by the public everytime he steps out of his residence.

I guess my point... heckle to your heart's content at regular campaign appearances. But when addressing the deaths of people shot down like this... I think there are better times, places and situations.

DeSantis the same one spreading anti-blackness and making a mockery of slavery

Nazis support him, and there has been a bold presence of them in Florida the last couple of years

There is a time and a place for heckling. I don’t think that was the time and the place. We can certainly disagree about DeSantis’ positions and how they might be contributing to the problems of this country. He is still the elected governor of FL expressing his condolences at a time of tragedy for the state.

there will be plenty of time and occasions to criticize

What is the time and place?

His condolences are towards a community he is an abject enemy of.

You might be a leftist, but you are usually one of the reasonable ones.

A separate protest could be organized, legislators and others in the FL legislature can speak out, certainly people can express their disagreements in any number of public forums.

This is a point of I’ve brought up though that everything gets politicized and politicized constantly. As much as some of us find it in poor taste when people criticize Biden when he’s speaking in Maui and thinks that is crass the same should apply to the governor of FL at a tragedy in his state.

I think this statement comes from a place of privilege. For these people it isn't merely politics. Being gerrymandered into not having a representative to address needs of a community isn't a part time concern. They are living this

This is my biggest issue with people who express "pilote politics". For privileged people politics is a part time thing that can me separated. For many they don't have that privilege.

Ron DeSantis has no right to memorize a mass shooting based on white supremacy. The man is an active participant in white supremacy trying to erase history and create more ignorant people capable of this stuff. No he has no right to be respected here. None.

I mean, I hear you, and I agree at face value.

However, the politician is showing up to use your pain to prop up his political image. It's one thing if he's a random politician that you just disagree with, but when the disagreement really centers around the very things that were involved in the deaths...I don't know man.

If Jerry Falwell showed up to speak at the funeral for murdered gay person in 1998, I would expect them to heckle him as well.

You show up at these events to get a free campaign ad. To look like the compassion leader that is consoling grieving people. If those people want to boo you, go for it.
