I agree, this needs to be said but where was the outrage when trump was helping ron run for governor, he never mentioned one word of this while trump was slandering others to help him but now that its being thrown at him he has this faux outrage. I guess it's typical politics, its ok behavior when we're doing good and we get what we want but when the shoe is on the other foot I will moan and groan.
Or when Ron DeSantis was running ads showing him telling his children Trump themed bedtime stories. For as much as Ron DeSantis cares about children he felt fine upholding someone who he claims has been petty for years as an example for his kids.
He's not a people person, but I like him anyway. Not everyone can be a charmer like me. Also, I am sorry, but I cannot become your president. I wasn't born here. I know that disappoints you.
you seem to have accepted the tweets characterization at face value w/o watching the vid. there's absolutely zero wrong with his response.
Escalation in cost of living comes from Bidenflation, and from the laws of supply and demand. Artificial caps on rent do not work - they only increase homelessness, and work as a disincentive to investing into creating more livable space. I have seen that first hand in socialist Berlin. Also, Florida is VERY livable. People have been escaping California for Florida for good reason.
And this is the deepest level of analysis this guy will attempt to delve into about a topic effecting millions of Americans and have the next 20 comments about swim meets. And ya it's **** analysis also.
I don't think you know what "whataboutism" is. My statement was a totally ridiculous statement to hopefully shine a light on how utterly insane this statement is... "Artificial caps on rent do not work - they only increase homelessness".... Trickle down economics don't work, neither does trickle down housing.
[. Trickle down housing does work. Let all the corporations maxamize return on investment which allows them to diversify into buying massive deaths of land and rental property so then they can trickle down 2500 dollar per month 2 bedroom apartments. It trickles you see?
I don't mean this in a condescending way, but have you ever taken any economics classes, or concerned yourself with how supply and demand work? Who do you think builds houses? Meaning well/thinking of yourself as having higher morals and having a basic understanding of economics do not have to be mutually exclusive, you know. Venezuela economics don't work. Printing more money doesn't. Rent caps don't. https://www.cnbc.com/amp/2023/03/15...-solve-the-issue-of-high-rents-in-the-us.html As I said, I have seen it first-hand in Berlin.
