Our Texas Republicans work hard for those with money and power, and for those who can hire armies of lobbyists and lawyers. It's big money to them, and the more they get, the worse they get. Imagine buying 6 properties in Florida, Hawaii, Utah, and Oklahoma in less than a year, like Paxton did. Our Texas GOP reeks of dirty money, from enforcing laws that benefit the agendas of the richest. He brags about the fastest growing economy, with no trickle down effect happening. The job environment for workers doesn't matter to them. We rank 47th in the nation, because of our poor ratings in organizing rights (0), wages (12.24), and worker protections (19.05). They could care less about middle class and poor families trying to make it payday to payday to payday, working full time, yet still not having enough money to fill a prescription, or find affordable healthcare. They don't care about those who want a good education for their children, but can't afford, or get their children accepted into good private schools. These aren't issues that their families and kids face, so they just don't care. They say they care about Texans, but it's simply a lie. All they care about are their own lives of luxury.

I have a hard time seeing how TX wins a court case on the use of floating barriers and razor wire in the Rio Grande. The constitution specifically gives the Federal government the power over borders, immigration and naturalization. That states were running their own border policies was one of the reasons why the Articles of Confederation were dropped for the Constitution.
