i love andre and i loved that he got his touchdown catch in his first playoff game with the only professional team he has ever played with... class act... took a pay cut to stay with the team and help us get more talent... hard to find great players like that...

Barely two pages of thanks to the best player ever to put on a Texans jersey!?!?!

    What a shame.

I know. If only Texans fans actually cared enough about this team to stop going to games, tailgating, buying merchandise at a break-neck rate and generally going ape-**** over this team long enough to post in a random thread on a Houston Rockets message board. Obviously, we don't deserve Andre Johnson.

Lemme guess, you're one of those people on Facebook whose status updates consist of "98% of you won't post this, but if you hate cancer, post this on your wall or cancer wins!"

He is truly Mr. Texan. Face of the franchise and deserves every great thing said about him.

What is it about Houston? All of our sports icons pretty much have the same humble personalities. Hakeem, Biggio, Bagwell, Nolan, Earl, AJ. We've been pretty lucky in that our heros have always been great people off the field/court as well. Not every city can say that.

Is it too late for AJ to change his # to 34? Earl, Hakeem, Nolan, and AJ. He would fit right in.

Nolan's doing is best to taint that number.

i see him entirely different now than i used to. he does so many endorsements here...i wonder how that will hold up if MLB's dream of the Rangers and Astros ever developing a real rivalry comes true.

I hear you, but I'm mostly referring to avoiding getting in trouble with drugs, the law or getting caught with a bunch of hookers and blow, etc.

Who is the most famous NY Giant? LT. Look at his reputation.

What about the Redskins. Dexter Manley. Ouch.

    San Fran Giants? Barry Bonds....

    You get the point. :)
