    1. Both Mrs JB and I buy gadgets. She wants a new iPod now that I have a new iMac. Hell, she's the one who wants to buy the giant screen, picture-beside-picture TV so she can split time watching both tennis and golf.

    2. I get the committment to not having sex with others, but big deal. I just don't see the issue.

    Marriage is not the deciding factor in all the consumer crap you want... kids are. I just can't see blowing a few thousand or even a few hundred on a new TV when I could put that into a college account. One of these days, they'll be out of college and I'll have money to spend on that stuff and when that day comes 20 years from now, it'll be better stuff then anything you suckers are buying now. Delayed Gratification!

    If I remember correctly Smeg he proposed at the top of the Rio Hotel at a bar that overlooks the strip (cant think of the name right now)
