Deke is officially the best back-up center in the NBA and when Yao's out, at the age of 90, Mutombo is still better than Erica Dampier, Zaza Pachulia, Al Jefferson, Primoz Brezec, Ben Wallace, Nazr Mohammed, Jeff Foster, Mourning, Bogut (who can't block to save his life, sorry aussies), Mikki Moore, Eddy Curry (can't rebound to save his life), Tony Battie, Samuel Dalembert, Rasho Nesterovic, Brendan Haywood, Andris Biedrins, BYNUM, Jake Tsakalidis, Mark Blount, Kurt Thomas, Joel Pryzilla, Nick Collison, Chris Wilcox.

Deke's age seems to keep going up as the season wears on. Congrats to one of the classiest athletes around. His charity work is truly an inspiration.
What a night for the future HOF and Rocket great! Bypassing a former Laker big by blocking another Laker big. For the second time in his career, Kareem has been passed up by a Rocket. It's an honor having the two best defensive big men in league history. Yet another proof why Rockets' big men >>>>>> Lakers' big men.
Way to Go, Mutombo! Always been a favorite player of mine, ever since I started playing basketball. Growing up I was relatively tall, and I nicknamed myself Mutombo because I loved his playing style. He wasn't the best offensive player, but he was a hard-working hustler, and of course, a monster on defense. Great day for a Legendary player!
