They've been here ONCE before. And it wasn't clinched at home last year. The celebration was definitely bigger last year than it was this year. You know, the Green Bay Packers, THE GREEN BAY PACKERS, also celebrated being NFC North champs. They were giving shirts out in the locker room.
Love it. For all those saying that we shouldn't share the love now , lighten up. (I know, ironic, huh) Isn't stringing together division titles part of what is typically associated with historically great teams?
Glad we won it again, but more glad there wasn't a big party at the stadium afterwards like last year.
Last year was a long time coming...and the city needed something to rile up the fans and get the city behind it... This year...they have had our attention, the national attention, etc... They just need to perform this year...and make a few stunning upsets to bring a title to this city that is starving for relevancy...
Because if the Cowboys fans were celebrating a division championship and acting like they just won a championship like we are doing right now, we'd be ripping them new ones. Like I said, I'm glad we won, and I'm proud! It's the fact some people are blowing it out of proportion.
Congratualations to the CHAMPIONS, yes! We truly beat every team in the division, so we earned it! We've only been here for 10 years, man. Let us REjoice!
