Remember when we had brooks and Lowry splitting time? Imagine if Morey found a way to combine the two players. Brooks' quickness and offensive prowess combined with Lowrys toughness and playmaking ability. We'd have the greatest pg of all time.
the thing that Brooks had going for him is his hot shooting tbh Lowry's no slouch either...He is fast himself
True PG! Only teams with true PGs cannot score(or score little) and their team still win. D-Rose should pick up some tips from Lowry on how to play PG.
But they'll still be short. Elliot Perry. There goes a good name. He was the first guy I can remember to wear high tube socks. I'm sure there were others way before him.
But I bet Elliot Perry, Sidney Lowe, and Avery Johnson didn't have a super awesome blocked shots back when they set the record that Kyle just broke.
Forget about this record, Bogues still holds record for most assists with 2 points or less with 19 Come to think of it, Kyle is kind of like Muggsy. Both love to push the tempo on the fast break, can finish it by themselves occasionally but look to deliver the pass first. Both never give up, even though Lowry is not as short, he is still a small and muscular strong guy like Bogues.
Watched the nba league pass free til the 9th ..he was careless tryin to push the ball into fastbreaks often which is a great thing but the receivers weren't very fast runners or fit yet so it caused him to get 6 turnovers. I like the fastbreaks they always try to do ..i think mchale is doing a great job with coaching.
http://espn.go.com/espn/elias?date=20120101 Elias Says... By Elias Sports Bureau, Inc. LOWRY MAKES THE DISH BUT NOT THE SWISH From Elias: Kyle Lowry handed out 18 assists and scored only two points in the Rockets' win over the Hawks. Lowry is the sixth player in NBA history to hand out that many assists while scoring two or fewer points in an NBA game, the first since Muggsy Bogues had 19 assists and two points for Charlotte against Milwaukee on February 18, 1994. It was the second time Lowry had at least 18 assists in a game in a Rockets uniform - he had 18 in a game against the Grizzlies on December 17, 2010. Lowry is only the third Rockets player to have two games with at least 18 assists in a game since the team moved from San Diego to Houston prior to the start of the 1971-72 season. John Lucas had five such games, Sleepy Floyd had two.
it was great !...but seriously? Why must there be a record for every "specific" stat? Next record will be 18 assists on only 1 field goal.
