Regardless of what pick they get, Jordan will draft Barnes ;).

so many people post that houston should tank for a good pick, mj dumped wallace and jackson for some good future assets and tanked like never before and here we are b****ing about it.

Between MJ and Les, one of them at least knows what to do when your team is at best playoff fringe.

    Winner

At least a few people have been paying attention to whats happening than coming in just to post to troll and say that MJ is a terrible GM:confused:

This used to be one team that was definitely stuck in purgatory but this pretty much assured them to do much better in the future. I know NBA fans dont want to hear that..but the Bobcats best interest is to tear it down to fix it

If New Orleans wins the lottery, that would be some pretty messed up ish. I Don't think the Bobcats are gonna end up with the 1st pick as they have obviously been tanking. Even if the Bobcats were tanking, Jordan can't straight up tell the media that they are tanking. For one, it's punishable by the league and secondly, the Bobcats as an organization would take a PR hit.

Strategically, this (tanking) was the right move for the Bobcats. They would be stuck around running around in circles much like the Rockets if they stayed put and attempted to win as many games as they could. However, with that being said, Jordan is no savant when it comes to drafting players. If he decides to go with UNC product Harrison Barnes, that will probably go up there with Brown and Morris as the one of the worst picks ever made (assuming the Bobcats are picking in the Top 3).

Last time I checked, MJ is the part owner of the Bobcats. Is he the GM also? Is there any indication that he's involved in free agent/trade transactions and drafting?
