Bogans is out for a few weeks. If Redick can suck badly in the next few games they have a TE that is large enough to absorb Head's contract.

With a tough back to back coming up I like this move.

This is exactly what we brought Artest in for. Hopefully we continue to play at a high level in T-Mac's absence.

It's gonna be crazy when playoffs roll around and the team can still play top notch ball when T-Mac(who ALWAYS steps up) goes to the bench.

Wow Rooks... did you watch him play the last 3 games? He distributed well... and he shot 3s very well. He won us game against Wizard with quadruple 3s late in the game.

this is what they were talking about....t-mac taking nights off when we don't really need him like tonight...with yao and artest we will be fine...

Plus the team will have extra energy with the debut of battier so good call

    OK...he needs to play.

Its amazing how Artest couldn't exploit being matched up with a midget. Tracy probably would have helped there.

I never understood why people thought we would be fine if Yao or T-mac was missing in a game. I don't care who we play against if one of those guys are missing the game won't be easy and we have a good chance of losing.

morey is not going to risk trading a guy who put up 27, 8, 7, 2, 1 in the playoffs last yr.

the organization is gonna appease tracy, and yes it can be frustrating, but they'll do that if tracy does what he usually does in the playoffs.

very few can play at his level in the playoffs. until someone else on this team proves they can do that, then tracy is expendable. but right now, we don't. so the team has gotta deal with his injury issues.

    we're all frustrated, believe that.

I understand where you are coming from. This guy has to be the biggest human yo-yo in pro sports. He plays like a dog for weeks and just when I think he is done he turns it on and drops MVP numbers. The problem I see with him that has me pissed is that this team needs a leader. A strong, steady leader. Yao isn't the guy. Artest isn't the guy.

That leaves us with the guy who came here accepting the role of leader and the paycheck that goes with it. Now, he tells us he can't play not because he is injured but because his knee hurts when he plays? The Rockets have lost a game that very likely would have been a win had he played. No excuse for that. I'm ready to ship his ass off in exchange for someone who is a legit starter at PG or SG along with a first round pick.

The Tmac era is done and it was his choice by telling us he would rather sit than go out there and give what he has. Competitors don't do that. Winners sure as hell don't.

arent you the same guy who preferred tmac sit out and rest his knee until he was OK? I also love how you excuse our other max pay player in the breadth of a sentence. No one is pleased with tmac's up and down performance, but I hope Morey has the good sense not to trade Tmac away. If this happens, you best believe the Yao era is over too. Yao isnt going to shoulder a team in the WC.

Even with last nites loss, I have no problem with Tracy sitting out, let him have a long rest and hope he gets closer to normal on Sat. nite. The game last nite was on the players on the floor, simple as that.
