we get it. do not take any team lightly, regardless of their record. i think any coach pounds in that fact so relax. but when you bring up their bigs, you make me laugh. foster and murphy are not centers. foster is an undersized PF in terms of size/strength and murphy is only 6'10. hibbert is a legit 7' but he's a rookie so he won't play much. and nesterovic? please.
At least a couple of people did if you read all the posts. Leave the childish comments out of this discussion. Is it really that outrageous to take a slightly deeper look at the Pacers instead of just seeing their 5-7 record? Let people state their opinions without responding with childish sexual terms just because you disagree with them.
No he's not hurt. He needs some time to get his head on straight ie.confidence or more strength in the knee. I really feel he should see a sports pychologist and there's nothing wrong with that. At some point if he keeps baby'ing the knee he will eventually hurt something else. If it takes 20+ games for him to sit out and get mentally tougher then let him. The rockets have enough talent to win some games without him. I wish him well.
No, this is more than just "don't take any team lightly." The Pacers are probably the best team in the league sitting in last place in their division, other than maybe the Raptors. It shouldn't bother anybody that much to hear that the Pacers are probably better than their record. You also missed the point about their frontcourt. I didn't say those guys were all-world, just that they have plenty of size, which is not a total non-factor. This isn't an injury-depleted, undersized frontcourt like Miami's. On top of that, Murphy and Foster rebound well. Nesterovic is aging but he is another experienced big that has played good defense during his career. Hibbert is another big body to throw out there if necessary.
Okay, forget it. You can't say anything that is slightly against the Rockets or positive toward an opponent. This forum really is a bunch of cheerleaders. There are very few that can discuss things from multiple angles without resorting to name-calling or getting too defensive. Forget everything I said. I'll stop "slurping" the Pacers. This is a walkover. The Pacers are as bad as their record indicates. This will be a blowout of epic proportions. Let's rest Yao, too. Rockets 150 - Pacers 75
The doctors said he didn't need to miss games. That his knee will get better with more playing time. It's just a matter of it getting "stronger". Something just isn't right. It's not like T-Mac has been exerting himself for big minutes the last couple games.
Hey! Give Nesterovic a break. He's having a nice start to the season, and I just picked him up in my fantasy league.
Stop slurping Nesterovic! This is a Rockets forum. Only say great things about the Rockets and underestimate their opponents or else you are a negative hater that wants the Rockets to lose. Drop Nesterovic from your fantasy team now!
I'd like to think if Tmac was actually going to sit out, that it would be all over the Chronicle right now. And guys. The Pacers should be an easy game. We beat Miami without Tmac, I don't really see the problem with beating the Pacers. Yao will go off for 30 just like he did against Haslem and Beasley. The only difference is, instead of Marion and Wade its Granger and Ford. Which plays to our strengths because we have guys that can defend at the wing positions.
hes going to take some games off so he can get his knee stronger. good timing imo , through out the season he been playing with pain and soreness due to a weak knee. can't wait for a stronger more conf... t-mac
Again, lack of Chronicle article makes me question the news. I'm not calling you a liar, but I am curious why Chron hasn't jumped on this.
As long as he's not injured its ok... let him get his rest early in the season rather then risking injury later down the line.
i don't see any different. 0 point or 6 points laziness. tmac makes the right decision. get well soon and fire at any team.
