I thought Royce White was a wasted pick last year with Jones and Motie but he might be our saviour at PF.

The only confirmed wasted pick is the 1st round pick for TWILL!

Real Madrid got eliminated in the first round of the Spanish Cup. So there won't be any more Morey hype on Llull for awhile.

But we traded a draft pick for him which will most likely be this year's pick unless rocks fall apart. Again.

Not familiar with European leagues, but does this mean his year is done or is there another Cup? Rockets do have cap space that could be used for buy out. Granted, I don't know if it would be treated like a signing bonus, if llull wants to play here, and if there is a buy out option.

Can we still trade out his right as an asset?

Regardless of how the buyout is allocated, the Rockets are not going to tie up their cap space (it would take at least a $3 million starting salary to get Llull over here, IMO) at the expense of adding that second star. Hence, Llull's not coming over this year or early next summer. That is, unless the Rockets acquire their second star first, in which case they might be able to add Llull using their "Room" Exception ($2.652 million starting salary but only for a max of two years).

Yes, which may likely be the end result for the Rockets.

It's just the Spanish Cup (Copa Del Rey) Madrid got eliminated from. It's a single elimination tournament of the 8 best teams of the Spanish League (ACB) midway through the season.

Llull will still play in the ACB and the Euroleague. Madrid is 19-1 in the ACB and undefeated in the Euroleague Top-16 (6-0).

I missed the game but apparently his performance was good enough that fan sentiment from both sides has been Llull deserves to go on playing the tourny with Barca.

Euroleague/Eurocup teams play 3 - 4 competitions. National league, national cup, Euroleague/Eurocup and then some also play in a regional league.

This means Real Madrid was eliminated from the national cup of Spain. They still have the national league of Spain and the Euroleague to play. The national league of Spain won't end until late June.

Actually, he is being torn apart by Real Madrid fans for the game. He took 17 three pointers in the game, and the team's fans are extremely pissed off at him.

Here is the box score, if you don't believe it:

    Ooops ...

    17 3pt attempts ... wow. That's like a whole season for John Wall ...

17 three point shot attempts in one game for any player, but especially for a "point guard" is truly absurd.

Only a 100% pure natural born chucker could ever dream of doing something like that.

6/17 from three = 9/17 from two point shots, so efficiency wise its not that bad.
It all depends on the context of the game whether they were good shots or not.
Also in the rec league where a 3 is worth 2 pts vs 2 being worth 1, I am always an advocate of shooting a bunch of threes.

17 three point shot attempts in a 40 minute game is absolutely ridiculous.
